Now this is what I'm talking about! good guy rrtson, thumbs up for taking action!

I want to strongly emphasis that I did not intend to discredit the build, I'm running it and I invested in it, that's why I care. I'm also lvl 86 and I've been running it for 3 days, so I'm doing something right, I avoid 80% of the reflect and even my teammates got used to calling "REFLECT" on ts whenever they see a mob. on the remaining 20% I either evade or GGRIP. not sad about it just know that at 90+ its gonna be annoying.

No, thumbs up for giving me the opportunity to experiment! Anyway, I spent 19 points to respec, and now have a pretty solid new tree. I've tested the build with the same exact gear setups I was using before, so the only thing that changed was the tree (and gem choices). Turned out to be a lot better than what I expected. DPS on Ice Shot has improved ~2K tooltip, and Puncture by 500. We also get ~500 more HP, but most importantly, we are now immune to reflect. I've edited some other parts of the OP to reflect these changes (pun intended). For example, we can now run Weapon Elemental Damage or Critical Damage as our 6th link with no issues with reflect.

If you're unsure about committing to the new tree change, I'll be making a video of a high-level map with ele reflect soon. Tooltip of 14K+ Ice Shot DPS and I'll demonstrate standing at point blank range with Assassin's Mark curse.

"
Would this entail dropping Assassin's Mark for Warlord's Mark or some crazy dual curse shenanigans to get enough leech to stay alive? With Vaal Pack dropping leech to 40% effectiveness and all. Excited to see where this goes.

Not at all :) Everything stays virtually the same, except the LL gem is more recommended than before. The leech we get from 2% tree and LL gem is enough to cover our needs. However, if you aren't using the 100% unique version, you can stack LL on rares to free up the gem slot for something else.

I've updated the OP with the new tree and any relevant info. Overall, we gain about 2k more tooltip DPS on Ice Shot, 500 more tooltip DPS on Puncture, the ability to do reflect maps, and 500 more HP. All gear being the same. Turned out to be better than I expected. We do lose 2% tooltip crit chance, 2% tooltip accuracy, 3% tooltip chance to evade, and the ability to lay down 6 traps (now 3).

I've played around in maps, but I seem to like the tradeoff a lot more.

I usually stream everyday whenever I play, but my net's turned crappy in the past month :/ I get a constant 300+ ping with 1K+ spikes. Used to get a solid <150 ping but don't know what happened.

I'm talking with my ISP (Time Warner) to see what's up. If they can't fix it, I'm probably going to switch providers and get a fiber connection so I can stream more reliably.

Oh no I'm 100% committed, believe me I want to see this build succeed just as much as you, It's something unique and the purple prolifs make it a spectacle.

going to try it out and report back
been playing this build for the past few days and its absolutely awesome. thumbs up to the OP and thank you for sharing.

one thing i noticed though is crit is the absolute best stat for this build, i mean we are using 2 prolif gems afterall, if you dont crit with iceshot or puncture trap the dmg is pretty mediocre, but when you do crit you oneshot this room that room and everything within 2 zip codes. attack speed nodes and the bow/phys damage nodes were total overkill during crits and didnt matter for non crits, so i dropped them all and specced for straight crit/multi with life/ev and using a 9% crit rare, sitting around 70% crit before romira/assassin and now heading for the scion life wheel. it feels and plays so much better imo where you are not nearly as squishy and every arrow onshots an entire room, im no longer standing there fishing for crits with 35% chin sol tooltip crit, just fire once and move along.

the trap nodes also seemed like total overkill so dropped them too. puncture trap is definitely in need of a massive nerf imo. pretty silly with 0 trap nodes and a 4 link is oneshotting uniques.

i think the build is def HC viable if you go life/crit/ev instead of trap/phys/atk speed, maybe even take vaal pact, i personally havent died yet trying out the build for the past 3 days. thanks for making it.

Awesome build.Seems like it can do uber atziri. Anyone tried uber atziri with this build?

You're welcome! And yep, the higher the crit chance, the smoother the build plays. Your rare bow with 9% crit roll definitely accounts for a big chunk of your jump from ~30% to 70% tooltip. 9% base is nearly double Chin Sol's 5%. So if people can get their hands on a good rare crit bow, then I definitely would recommend that.

In my most recent tree update, I've also dropped all the trap nodes, and picked up more HP/phys nodes along with Vaal Pact. Damage has improved and plays a bit more tankier now.

Yep, just make sure that if you're not using the LL gem, have at least 5%+ life leech on the rest of your rare gear due to VP's 40% effectiveness. Let me know how it goes.

One thing i strongly disagree with is removing the trap immune passive.

Piety
courtyard bosses
atziri bosses
etc'

they all destroy the traps before they even trigger, what's your thoughts on this?

I agree with this. I had the Cyclone Exile and he was a PITA.
