10 October 0.9.3 Progress Update

Was kinda hoping we would have heard something new about the update by now.

The first iteration of the 0.9.3 patch is up on the alpha servers. It does not include all the content scheduled for 0.9.3 but this will get patched in a regular basis until the complete patch is ready for beta.

It's still very early but my initial reaction is very positive.

This is gonna be the longest week(-ish) of my gaming life! Im twitching from withdraw. I can game but I know I shouldnt until the new patch.

It's tough to say right now. Partly because there's still a lot of content to be added. Also the balance fluctuates significantly on a daily basis as we try to nail down all the new systems. Basically all the balancing we did in the past six months since 0.8.0 we're trying to do over again with all the new systems and equations in the next week or so before the patch hits beta. There are a lot of serious discussions going on about the core fundamentals of the game balance and flow.

Stay tuned. Hopefully as the patch gets closer to beta we'll be able to give some more detailed information. Right now, everything's just really up in the air.

I doubt it's only 1 week. I'm leaning towards 2+ weeks, maybe sometime after halloween.

even if it take 3 weeks, don't worry. ;)

just do it well. maybe i will continue to play a bit my new character then, waiting the up.

Glad to see it has finally started!

And yeah, the sweeping changes announced will require a lot of balance and fine tuning, although in my honest opinion that's a job better suited for the beta since there will be more players to test it out ;D
