You have to self cast SRS

Could someone please explain to me, why is a Life build still stronger than hybrid?

For example, during Atziri fight, for life build such as OP's SRS build

One flameblast from Atziri is around 800HP with flask OFC.



On the other hand, for hybrid build, one flameblast from Atziri, is 2588-856 ＝ 1732＝ 1732es, and yes he popped the flask too.

In the 2 videos, 3.7K hp + 4K ES looks a lot weaker than 4.6K hp, why is that?

This hybrid build doesn't have purity of fire, which is a big difference

Any ideas on how doing Atziri without +1/+2 6L staff?
I only have a +2 5L (lvl19/13 SRS, lvl 2 empower) and totally failed on the mirrorphase.

How hard is it to make a +1 gem +2 Fire gem staff with alts?

Why don't use lightning Coil?

i just played PoE in the beta. 5days ago i decided to start again =). after leveling a ranger and a templar i found your guide and your youtube videos. i just wanted to thanks you cause now i can get back into the game while i playing a realy solid char!!! atm iam lvl 48 and i have full 75%res - 2k~ life - 42manareq - and iam running 2 auras clarity / grace.





with lvl 14 i found SRS so i decided to level with SRS instead of using Flameblast. sometimes i was using arc and Flameblast just to see the diffrent between srs and other skills.


PS: you have any advice for the future other then get a 5l or 6l staff ? btw i found a thread about dmg calculating with a external program but i lost the link! is there any programm to calculate the dmg including gems? or just oldschool pen & paper ? xD

Thanks alot for this guide it really helped my SRS char started and going really good. The biggest problems I have is to actualy figure out what my damage is since i really suck at math and it is quite a puzzle calculating my damage. Earlier I was lucky to find this weapon

and while trying to 5 link it I got a 6 link but now i am trying to figure out what is best for me as a 6th gem. Currently running with lvl 3 empower and a melee physical damage gem but some people tell me minion damage gem or added fire damage gem is better. How are you desciding what does most damage when you link or just go with a "feeling this does more damage" while you are playing ?


Another big problem I have is to run arctic armour since I only have about 150 mana regen and even at lvl 17 arctic armour drains alot more. Since I am using a belly of the beast i have no energy shield from my chest. What is better to get on gear, energy shield / mana regen or + to max mana. Ofcoure All would be best but some gear like that can get mighty expensive tbh

build is perfect. i solo all maps but did not tried atziri yet. gear is almost all self found:)

I'd say mana regen. That's why everyone runs around with 150%+ regen from jewelry.
