Conduit-Totem question

Hi guys! i have a question about totems:

So, does the Conduit passive give benefits to totem?
The point is: i wanted to use Power Syphon with Spell Totem, and get Power Charges, while i focus my char on lightning/shock. Do i need Conduit for that?
And is it better if i myself cast Power Syphon and keep Spell Totems with lightning spells?

I wanted the core of casting to be on my char, for more flexibility (i didn't want to use two totems and only one spell option and just watch them clear the map... that's just too boring...)

I would also like to know if conduit effects work with totems.

If i have conduit does my totem have conduit as well? eg: i have conduit keystone and i put enduring cry on totem

SO conduit works with totems but not minions?
