[2.0] Cheap, 5L Atziri Farmer - 22K TT DPS LMP Incinerate RF

Nice buid - currently playing this too, its awesome.

I got some Questions.

- What do you think about Inner buff ? is it worth to get?

- And Alpha howl ? freeze immune+aura buff + more mana left is pretty good or?

- And whats about Tempest shield ? its just 25%reserve and give you 4%block chance (with inner buff (min 25%) it give you 5%)

-I am currently using Rainbowstride.. it feels pretty good., or should i aim for some high life boots ?

-Is Saffell's Frame needed for atziri because of the +max res.? or only for reaching 75%block?

In my opinion it's not worth getting. You're not going to gain any additional max resistance, and you're hardly gaining anything on Arctic Armor, you're better off spending the points on life.

It might seem counter intuitive, but Alpha's howl will actually mean you end up with less mana unreserved. If you can get a helm with over 250 Energy Shield, that ends up being around 800 Mana. Even though the percentage reserved is higher without alpha's because your total Mana Pool is larger you end up with a larger number unreserved.

I use tempest shield against the Three Champions during the Atziri fight. If you were playing hardcore you could use this instead of Herald of Ice full time for the extra block at the sacrifice of some DPS.

Personally I would ditch Rainbowstrides if you have a Rathpith. Get boots with a high life roll. Rathpith and Stone of Laz combined can give you up to 110% of block chance applied to spells. No need to run Rainbows get life instead.

Both, the only real danger in Atziri's fight is her spells. You want the maximum chance to block them. However she is throwing around so many that you're going to get clipped at some point. You need the max resist to mitigate the damage when you do get hit.

I'm a filthy casual myself, I get a max of 4 hours a day to play. Some days don't even get the chance. I've just focused all my attention and all my play time this league on one character.

You're better off taking the passive skill point. It allows you to path through the skill tree more quickly to nodes which are more valuable. You can always take any of the 4% cast speed nodes anytime later on. The passive tree takes you past two sets of 4% nodes.

First off all, Im playing this build for about a week now. I think it is one of the strongest builds I've ever seen. I can deal with everything REALLY easy. Im using the Reduced Mana -> Tempest Shield -> Mana Leech Combo because of my really high blockchance (67% melee and 75% spell atm, with 90 it is 71% melee, more is not possible so far).

Im also using Rainbowstride's. Reason: Capped Spellblock, ES, Resist, Movementspeed. Perfect.

As you may have noticed one of my current flasks is the Atziri's Promise. I think for certain situations it is really useful, its also pretty cheap. (CR -> 15% more damage -> leech)

My belt makes me the most unkillable-witch available. A Doryani's Invitation with maximum Fire Damage and 1% Fire-Leech, more than enough with the LOH with spells. (expensive, about 1 exalt and 22c)

I use two Amethyst Rings with maximum CR, tons of resists, maximum life and of course: rarity!

I could upgrade my Rathpith actually with a 55%+ Spelldamage one, but it is not really needed because the damage output from incinerate is just insane.

DPS (+ Herald Of Ice)


Defence (-14% CR is more than enough. For hairy situations I have my Atziris)


I hope I didnt miss anything. Feel free to add a comment, maybe a suggestion for an upgrade. My current IIR is 63%. Im really, really happy with my current gear and I dont think it is really easy to upgrade some of that stuff. Im thinking about getting a 6L defiance. I could add Added Cold Damage so Herald of Ice with Quality would increase the DPS even more. A lot of stuff that can be done there, but for now - Endgame is no deal.

All right, i'm planning on respecing my lvl 89 shadow to a similar build.
I always wanted to build a similar character, but it lacked dps in earlier patches.

I have some questions:
1: Is 2% (wand and belt) fire dmg leech less than cybil's LOH?

2: Have you ever considered kaom's boots? Getting stunned interrupts the channeling so you'd have to start going phase 3 again. Isn't that a problem?
3: Check my passive tree please. This is what i'm planning to get. Any suggestions?

4: Why do you use such bad rings? :S

I'm personally not sold on the Doryani's Sceptor and belt combo. 2% Leech from from Fire/Elemental damage, vs +8 Life per enemy hit from Cybil's. I am pretty sure that Cybil's wins especially against multiple targets. Also Doryani's doesn't increase chaos damage from Added Chaos Gem.

Using Cybil's I have 5250 Tooltip DPS on Incinerate Currently.

I don't think so, Cybil's certainly works better against large packs.

Nope, this build has two separate chances to avoid being stunned. And I've never had problems with being stun locked.

Your passive tree looks pretty good. Unfortunately as a Shadow you will suffer a little on DPS as your have elemental damage nodes rather than spell damage nodes, this won't increase the damage from Added Chaos.

I spent some time looking for better ones, but anything better was at a cost I didn't want to spend. It hasn't prevented me from Killing Atziri. So I'm saving the coin.

A number of people asked me about Apep's rage. Well I tried it last night and also respec'd my character to Vaal pact so that I was able to get instant leech.

This works pretty well. Tooltip DPS of 5100. However you have to run LL gem fulltime otherwise you have no life gain. You can't use Fire Pen on a 5L. Which means that it is simply a more expensive version of the build that doesn't offer you any benefit.

Cybil's paw allows you to pick and choose. While clearing a map you can run Fire Pen and get instant leech from mobs. Then when you come up to a difficult boss you can put in LL for extra survive. You get regular life leech + life gain on hit. And slightly higher tooltip DPS.

Now selling one Apep's rage for anyone who wants it... :P

Can u share the tree starting from Scion? I'm lvl 86 atm. I'm not tanky at all. So I considered to try ur build. IS that possible for Scion?
