1.2 Layent's Low Life Split-Crit 100KDPS Reflect Viable End-Game
" You're right, I tried it the other day with max quality and level gems, it was definitely amusing. Running is faster for sure, only loses when a lot of ledges are involved. IGN:Layent PST(GMT -7:00) Last edited by Layent#0717 on Aug 27, 2014, 2:21:50 PM

" Hey MindR,how's your wander doing? Coc discharge is dead, thank god! On topic, anyway to run this build without alpha's? Or is the 8 refuced mana required for all the auras? |
|
" without alpha's you could only run 2 60% and 1 40% on mana, 1 60% and 1 25% on life the benefits of not running alpha's would be: -More ES (a rare helmet with ~350 es would translate to ~1400 more es= about 7000 total) -similar DPS to running a rat's nest the detriments of not running alpha's would be: -losing the ability to run 1 of the 60% auras, (preferably drop anger and pick up a purity or clarity) -less DPS compared to a rare helm with alpha's you can run 3 60% on mana, 1 60% and 1 25% on life IGN:Layent PST(GMT -7:00) Last edited by Layent#0717 on Aug 28, 2014, 9:49:49 AM

Our builds are... VERY alike actualy.
Love your idea and wanted to make a guide about it myself :b but I found this thread - so no reason to. This is my version (the cheap version (since I play on beyond)) http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgMA34rpAkuuGyXZW20ZIvQRUGwLNbkNjacrHNx_xpMnwcUnqbQMLL_sGOq6W_RGcYaucLsNfIMJ4YgV19kTb54dqlZjL2-cpMpKhxPDOlFMdwebtaxHGYoi6n1bLYP7CejWKk2XBvba6xTN6gW153Q_J8SiGo-Nv8LsbWzbGkrIu-PcFVFHtMW1SBB7bqr-uqfU51SVBTB82-fz6pmaBiO-OrXy_sgk_QiJfytfaioL62MfQalu_96a8daKd9dwUhEvAx5sRio4XWg51Ba_cmzKqXb3Mgkx-qCf Why not use Heart of the Oak? don't you get stunned? or do you evade enough? |
|
Oh cool! Good to know there's a really cheap viable version out there too!
The Heart of Oak is a node that is intended to combat being stunned. For my build it is 5 points out, however being that it's not guaranteed stun avoidance I decided that it wasn't worth the points, maybe if the percentage was higher I could argue to give up 5 points somewhere but currently all the points in my tree are practically necessary. Before I swapped to ES I was really concerned with the stun mechanic, I thought I would end up being stun locked for days so I grabbed the Lioneyes paws but then later after making the build I found that stun is a non-factor to my build so I got es boots instead. Also in party play being that my skill usually ends up being the furthest range there are almost always other players in-between the monsters and my character.(This build also knocks back and permanently freezes packs of monsters that you don't one shot) Also worth noting that in solo play packs of monsters are getting one shot so there was never any hope for those guys to land a hit to then go onto stunning me. Basically in soft-core all the mirrored gear and unique(s) allow me to do enough damage to permanently freeze/ consistently knock-back or to one shot packs, my evasion is 50% however while under the Jade Flask effects. I took a look at your build, have you tried considering dropping Heart of Oak and Aspect of the Eagle to reach Inner Force? Of course only you know how often you're getting hit and how important it is to avoid being stunned, maybe one way to get inner force and avoid being stunned would be to give up your necklace slot to grab heart of chayula.
