Playing with dual totem searing bond is so easy, i just killed piety at lvl 62 and with trash items. :)
Is it possible to run this build with RF?

Thanks for the guide, gave me some insights on what changes ill do on my passive tree.

Good job man! Just wait until you get yourself some awesome items then, your enemies will melt before your mighty presence :D

Oh I forgot to answer you about the RF. The answer is in almost any case no, however it wouldn't be impossible. Running a specialized RF build would be better though :)

Hey again, man.

I am still alive out there, in Beyond, and things are burning nicely.

Little catch I foudn - you advice to take endurance charges in tree and kill all bandits in merciless.
If you instead help Oak (-1 point) and ignore one of endurance charges (+2 points) you will get net gain of +1 point with exactly same effects. Not like your build is tight on points, but never hurts, right?

Or maybe it is even better to help Oak and take nodes and run with 6 charges, who knows.
Hey, first of all thanks a lot for the guide, it's really nice for a first char in this league since it's so cheap, also really safe to play this way!
Now I have a question, I see you are using a staff but I couldn't find a reason to use a staff instead of a sceptre and a shield. Are you using that staff only because it has OP fire damage? Or is there any other benefit for using a staff instead of a 1handed weapon?

Thanks!

Hey man!

I am glad to hear that!

I was actually considering for a long time picking up the extra endurance charge from Oak to run 6 charges all the time. It really depends on how much armor you are able to obtain from your gear. If you have tons of armor the additional skill point is better, if not the endurance charge would be better.

What did you decide to go with? :)

Hey man!

Thank you for saying so :)

The weapon we use is the unique Searing Touch staff, not just any staff. This staff adds LOTS of damage 70% burning damage + 20-40% fire damage. So the answer is yes, we are using the staff to get OP damage :D

If you were to get a Doryani's Catalyst and a good shield that would be an awesome option as well.

Alright I'll aim for the Searing Touch staff then, if I can't find one I'll go with the other option you mentioned, thanks :D

My pleasure mate :)

The Doryani's is very expensive though, keep that in mind :)

I am just gonna post a small excerpt from a PM I wrote a few minutes ago.

The question was. "If I can't afford a Searing Touch staff, then what would you recommend?"

Answer:

If you can't afford a ST then I would simply recommend getting yourself a good wand or scepter with +2 to fire gems, increased elemental damage or fire damage. Put your searing bond, increased burning damage and either blood magic or increased rarity in that scepter/wand and you should get a nice damage boost.

Remember that "increased spell damage" does not work for SB :)

Good night guys!

Searing Bond Bro Templar can easily farm up to 72 lvl Vaal crafted maps without Searing touch (I got mine at 81 lvl). I used crappy +% fire damage Scepter and Spirit shield - 30% of block + resists helped me to survive and even to tank for parties.

I'm 82 lvl now. In couple weeks with this only character in Rampage League I was able to grind Alpha's, Belly of the beast, Aursieze. I also bought Doryani's invintation and Searing Touch and couple of Pyre rings. Using Grace+Determination I have around 10k armour, searing bond damage is about 8k+
For additional survability i use 2 sets of cast on damage taken combos, low-level for gaining endurance charges and another one for Immortal Call.
I have average rolls (and shitty BotB), good rolls will boost your damage and survability significantly.

My farm is just perfect, I do not care for reflect, removed health and mana regen, temporal chains, elemental weakness, etc.

Guys, never understimate the power of Herbalism and Profane Chemistry. It's a HUGE boost to your survability, you always have a charge to heal all of your HP.

I'm still not sure if a have to go for Ash, Frost and Storm to make damage output even higher or to pick Soveregnity for additional aura (Vitality?)

PS
I recommend Vaal Detonate Dead for some funny explosions!
