[1.2.w/e] storm call for cool dudes who don't want to read a bunch of math shit

Storm Call: meat of the build, I have it in a +2 lightning gems weapon. When leveling any elemental spell make sure you use a +1 gem level weapon for whatever element you're using, the damage increase is better than anything else you can use. For links I use spell echo and added lightning damage, you can also use faster casting and/or lightning penetration but I'm using rarity because the damage is totally fine.

Also it's only a 3 link because I don't play 20 hours a day and if you're seriously considering this build you probably don't either, I don't understand the mindset of "super tanky super high damage cheap easy beginner" builds that require 1000 hours of play, a bunch of best-in-slot mirrored gear along with shavronne's wrappings and legacy kaoms and one or two of those terrible supporter uniques which some jackass designed to support his special snowflake build, if you can afford that shit just fucking buy the build outright or get a job

Auras: I use clarity, haste and purity. You can drop the haste since it's not great, if you use it don't level it up because you can't really support the dexterity. Unless you can. Don't level clarity, except I did. Make up your own mind I'm not your mother

Raise Zombie: just some dudes to take hits for you, only used as meat shields

Vaal Storm Call/Spark: These are sweet, vaal storm call is basically always up and vaal spark melts bosses

Curses: using conductivity at the moment for that lightning damage boost, warlord's mark is also an option because the leech is really nice except I can't find one because I'm lazy

Lightning Warp: for running your dumb ass away

Totems: shockwave totem because I read it was cool (it's ok it draws some aggro). do not use spell totem or dual storm call totems because the damage is ass

cast storm call at shit until it dies

cast slower

cast as fast as you can

+1 to lightning gems weapon/offhand, two linked blue sockets with storm call and added lightning damage

that's it. that's all you need.

for passives grab the increased AoE nodes and the early lightning nodes and I guess the crit nodes since they're in the way then start getting some life, the tree i'm using isn't really efficient but it gets the job done which is what you want
