Hey man! Just wanted to give you a big shout out for this build. Havent had this much fun in PoE in a long time! Dat feeling when you pull literally 100+ of mobs in an open map and splash them to pieces is really nice!
Anyway, I've been resistant to go blood magic as gems because I havent really needed it (Mana leech on gear) but havent been able to run two auras. I think I've found a way around it tho and its called Alpha's Howl. I think it could be really powerful, just as long as I get enough mana to maintain and not run out when double striking. If mana leech is not enough im thinking about picking up the mana on kill nodes in the southeast corner. I'll get back with the results and if it fails, I'll just have to go BMgem! :) Thanks again! |

" Alpha's Howl is great. Hi,
Loving your build so far lvl 55 and owning hard. I have been using Herald of Ash and Ice and I must say it works amazingly well. What are your thoughts on it? You can use it with Grace and Hatred at lvl 17 reduced mana and alphas i think. Last edited by Thuor99#5920 on Aug 27, 2014, 5:54:32 AM

Great build, but just one question, how do you have enough int to use Hatred if you dont have any on your gear/in your tree?

I just hit level 69 with this build and let me tell you how fun it is: Very fun.
I finally have all the recommended gems/links in my gear (Except a 5-link Vaal Cyclone) and I am just stomping maps now. I rolled 2 Granite Flasks of Iron skin which I pop right as I am Vaal Cycloning. I tanked the level 66 Dungeon map Boss (Hits hard) pretty easy. What DPS should I look for on an "Endgame" sword? I don't want to bother 5-linking a sword that won't last me. 430+ dps? |
