[1.2] Chuca's CI Crit 40k SA+Chain 9k ES Ranger

For the people looking for the Low Life version, please check the MaryAnguish Low Life build, there's no need of Crown of Eyes.


Here's an updated version for a CI crit physical Split Arrow + Chain ranger. Even with the ES gear nerf you can get 9k ES. And well, the increased damage on bows let you get 40k with SA+Chain, self buffed.
Here we go.





Many thanks to Fyndel for the Fyndel's CI SPLIT ARROW CRIT VAAL PACT GUIDE. It's the main core of my build.

Just made some calculations with the Full Attack & Spell DPS Calculator and finally got this updated version.







The tree has been improved to get the best balance between damage and ES.





Normal: Kill'em all
Cruel: Help Oak
Merciless: Help Alira







As you can see, the chest colours for Frenzy are quite shitty. I don't wanna change it cos the chest is for my main Reaver Shadow. Even this way, I reach 144k with Frenzy.





Area Attack, 6L: Split Arrow + Fastar Attacks + Chain + Weapon Elemental Damage + Power Charge on Critical + Increased Critical Damage
Single Target Attack, 6L: Frenzy + Faster Attacks + Physical Projectile Attack Damage + Weapon Elemental Damage + Increased Critical Strikes + Increased Critical Damage

4L: Reduced Mana + Hatred + Discipline + Assassin's Mark (The curse is here due to the little mana pull we have).
4L: Blood Rage + Enhance + Increased Duration + Portal
4L: Cast when Damage Taken + Enduring Cry + Immortal Call + Increased Duration





8955 Energy Shield

40144 DPS SA + Chain
144k DPS Frenzy (with my combo colours; near 200k with the right combo).

88.8% Critical Strike Chance (with 6 Power charges).





Pretty Simple. Just clean the groups with SA+Chain and shoot Frenzy on single targets.
Our mana pool is short, just 140, but enough to sustain our attacks if we don't miss more than 4 shots.

well you do not talk about it but compared to a life build, you get less dps, more life and more important no evasion or armor.

Well, I did the build this way cos I have the gear to do it. I didn't test any life version, so I cannot compare.

hi,

the main difference with the life version is that you got grace in your standard setup. In your case, you do not have armor and evasion, you should mention it.

If you plan to use it with Crown of Eyes, you should make a full aura tree, similar to the Low Life Spectral Throw. I wrote this build to run a low life CoE ranger/witch, but I need to update it.
