Chest:

Spectral Throw > Cast on Crit > GMP > Arc > Arctic Breath ->- Life Leech/Ice Sprear

6L is preferred. Adding ice spear to the link would greatly increase cold damage and you could possibly utilize cold nodes specifically over spell damage to get more bang for your buck. That and Doryani's cold belt leeches 1%.

Utilizing life leech would be good as well. Changes to the tree would have to be made for instant life leech to take full advantage.

Dagger/Shield
Reduced Mana > Clarity > Purity of Elements

Purity of Elements was needed until I got away from the lack of resists. Herald of Ice would make a great addition here.

Boots/Head:
Temporal Chains > Cast when Damage Taken > Enduring Cry > Immortal Call

I've found that temp chains works well but a decoy totem is better is some cases. Having RRRW for sockets could better suit changes to this. 4 off colors is hard to come by. But with masters it's reasonable.

Curse: Assasin's Mark


Survivability comes from your ability to get out of the way. This is a kite build.
There is no reason to be on a mob. Throw and run or pre-throw then lure mobs through the throw.

The CoC gem was nerfed by 20% flat. But it still works.

I saw an increase in damage with this new spec but again a decrease in casts from the nerf.

I still like the build. And will try it or a variant in league.

My current gear:
Never mind the pointless gems in my gear as I am leveling some things.


I'm using Doryani's (Cold) belt to leech life, for resists and the increased damage.
Maligaro's because Acuity is 'spensive.
Rat's Nest for evasion, crit and move speed (Important for the living.)
My chest is so-so. Could be a lot better. I would say a 1700+ version is optimal.
And last the Atziri slink boots for survivability. (Move speed, dodge and evasion.)
