Path of Exile Releases on October 23!

Explore Wraeclast with the Scion, Path of Exile's new prestige class! Experience the expanded Act 3 with new areas, monsters, quests and skills to claim. Join a guild with your friends, play in our new fresh start challenge leagues or return to your old characters and compete in new PvP options such as Capture the Flag and Tournaments. Masses of New Content

In addition to the new Scion character class, Act Three has been expanded with six more areas, three new quests and a grand finale boss fight. We've added six new monster types, three new skill gems (Spectral Throw, Animate Weapon and Animate Guardian), eight new support gems and dozens of new passive skills.

Guilds and new PvP Modes

Create your own guild, invite your friends and complete challenges. New Guild Stash Tabs allow you to store your accumulated wealth and Guild Chat lets you communicate between leagues. We've also added new PvP modes - Dueling, Capture the Flag and a schedule of rapid-fire PvP tournaments.

A Fresh Start in new Challenge Leagues

We're opening up two brand new leagues to play in when Path of Exile launches. The Domination league contains powerful shrines that influence both the monsters and you. Nemesis is a hardcore league where rare monsters have additional powerful properties. If you want to compete against other players in a new economy, these leagues are the place to play.

All of your old characters and items are still available in the Standard and Hardcore leagues. We've granted everyone a passive skill reset so you're able to update your old characters.

Ongoing Content Updates

Path of Exile entered Open Beta in January and quickly grew to over 3 million users. We have been blown away by the quality of your feedback and generous support! We have a planned ongoing update schedule of content patches every two weeks and large scale expansions every four months.

Introducing Trigger Gems

Path of Exile's release includes a new type of Support Gem - Trigger Gems! These gems allow you to set up your own procs that cast while you're fighting, as several different conditions are met.

If you augment Cast on Stunned with Frost Wall, then there's a chance that a wall of ice will rise from the ground when you're stunned. These six Trigger Gems add a lot of new ways for skills to be cast during combat, dramatically increasing the versatility of many utility skills.
