Can Pledge of Hands Unique be chanced?

It's a general drop now, so yup. And in my opinion, with the recent linking news, it's the best one to chance. 7L for most spells, and decent stats.

All it takes is 1 person to post an OP build with it and the price will inflate.

Chance drops like candy. Why not chance any base item you find. Shit, in any given map, you can probably chance 5-6 things from currency and item drops while clearing.

Worse thing thing that happens, get a rare with +1 gem/+2 (elemental) gem instead :)

So a staff that only gives you a level 30 support gem and an insane amount of spell damage is the best thing to chance? I can thing of a number of vastly superior options:

1. Mjolner

2. Lightning Coil

3. Shavronne's Wrappings

4. Bringer of Rain

5. Crown of Eyes

6. Rise of the Phoenix

7. Soul Taker

8. Rathpith Globe

9. Prism Guardian

10. Piscator's Vigil (especially if you're doing a Cast on Crit build with ele damage)

So no, I'd say it's one of the weakest uniques since you give up quite a bit for it. Mjolner gives you much greater clear speed than it and does not require you to put in any investment, while also allowing you to get a shield. Cybil's Paw grants you spell damage based on block, so it's only missing up to 85% spell damage and the level 30 Spell Echo, but allows you max block.

1 = OP piece of shit that's getting a nerf.
2 = Kinda agree with you, except the spell has to go on the staff if you use it.
3 = OP piece of shit that's sadly NOT getting a nerf.
4 = Cheap item as 4L...
5 = OP, broken, boring.
6 = Useless except for RF. Boring.
7 = OP, broken, boring.
8 = Cheap.
9 = Cheap.
10 = Trash. Doesn't affect spells.

Besides, we're talking about casters, and most of that is not caster gear.
