Chosing your opponent

Is there a way to chose your opponent in PVP? Or is it totally random?
If you can`t, there should be an option in wich you chalenged somene to a PVP match.
Something similar that happens on C9 or Vindictus. That way i could beat the crap out of my friends when they start smack talking :D
