Best tasting alcoholic beverages to get drunk fast?

I love getting at least a little tipsy sometimes but can't stand the taste of alcohol. Maybe there is a solution? Like Gatorade that can get you drunk but doesn't taste any different than regular Gatorade?
I'm a newb when it comes to drinking, advice please. :) |

Just drink softer alcohols, as some people do.
Easy ones include Beer (somewhat bitter though), Rosé (the pink wine), Cider, Champagne, or cocktails. The best/worst cocktail I know is called "Soupe Champenoise", and it's made of Champagne, lemon juice, Cointreau (orange liquor) and a tiny bit of cane syrup. It's the best because the taste is godlike. It's the worst because you don't feel the alcohol and can easily get drunk. Sneaky shit. You might want to try that someday. Or do a godamn Sangria, with a barbecue. Works like a charm. EDIT : I forgot the Gin Tonic ! If you mix it reasonably, you won't feel the alcohol part of the Gin, and it's pretty powerful. white wine + mineral water (50/50) is a really nice way to get shitfaced on these warm summer days, tastes really nice and its refreshing.. and dont buy expensive white wine for this, its not worth it since you mix it with mineral water. You could try a Margarita, all you need is triple sec and tequila, you can adjust the ratios depending on taste, if you want it sweeter add more triple sec. If you want some sour you can use lime juice or a lime, but those are optional.
If you want to go cheap, a screwdriver is a classic, just orange juice and vodka. Or rum and coke, pepsi, basicaly any soft drink. If you are looking for something with a kick, southern comfort, 100 proof and has a cherry taste. Last edited by Mephasm#3703 on Jul 31, 2014, 6:25:33 PM

Grain alcohol and grape kool-aid. Fucked up city in record time.
Edit: We had another one called a slow suicide. Take a liter of Coke and a bottle of Bacardi 151. Take a sip off the coke and top back off with the rum. Repeat. By the time you are drinking straight 151, you are too drunk to know it. Then seek medical attention. |

Vodka + Lemonade
Wild Turkey + 7up Sambucca (if you don't mind Aniseed) Hell, even Canadian Club + Cola/Dry pre-mixers taste godly. Or find a beer you like (there are literally hundreds of wonderful beers out there). Remember though, it's not about being first past the post, even the last horse still finishes the race. |
