Path of Exile: Forsaken Masters

Well damn, when Sotv was announced I was indifferent but this sounds damn nice.
Be ready. You're not paranoid, you're PREPARED.

I quit this game every few months and so should you to continue playing it in the future.

Wut!?

It probably wont be included but with the introduction of crafting benches you should be able to do something cool with race uniques. Something that will make people reconsider 'throwing away' the low lvl tier rewards.

If I read this correctly a guild leader will now be able to create a guild hall? Man I loved personalized guildhalls since the days of Tibia.

let me reword some of my questions as they were ignored by chris:

1.) as you can expand your hideout: can other players see it?

2.) are there mictrotransactions for expanding guild halls?

3.) as the hideout in the image has a chest and is located in a instance: is it possible to store away your stuff in the according instance?

4.) regarding "new mods": will that lead to the introduction of new mod types?

5.) are current trader's recipes to get certain mods on items are replaced by the new crafting options?

6.) where are the new items sinks? you kind of destroyed one off the old ones by allowing socket modifications to corrupted items.

finally:
not that it affects me in any way but your solution of the first 50 players receiving physical goods does exclude everybody who can't play in the beginning of the new leagues.
it would have been more fair to have a lottery at the end of league among all players who achieved all the challenges.

1. Yes
2. Not yet - we'd like to do microtransactions related to Hideouts but in our current version all the expansion and decorations are free. We'll hopefully find something cool to charge for though :)
3. You can access your stash and guild stash in it.
4. Yeah, some special ones.
5. Vendor recipes still work and will be expanded on over time.
6. The costs associated with crafting (a few chaos here and there, etc)

The first-50-players thing does exclude people who aren't playing at the start. I'm sorry.

So exciting ! Thanks GGG

So adding a medium-tier upgrade will cost us double-digit number of chaoses/alchs. This leaves 2 possibilities:
1)either this new crafting is for ppl who already can gamble a good item because they have thousands of orbs - in which case they'd rather gamble for BiS result than craft mediocre one
2)or GGG will raise currency drop --> players will need more stashtabs --> GGG gets more money from selling stashtabs
Spoiler
Hint: second option is better for both players and GGG :)
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
THIS IS COMING OUT ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Lets hope that there are more, different skill gems.

Another attack + two new auras for attack based characters while its casters who are currently crippled? Doesnt really add up, especially since its not variety in auras that attack based characters lack.

What role is crafting meant to fill?

Easier to obtain leveling gear is great for that first character you create in a league but often times you pick up enough leveling uniques that you can just plow through normal and most or all of cruel when creating alts simply because they provide so much power for their level. If crafting stops at cruel Dominus then it seems like you would be better off rushing to merciless ledge.

Trying to figure out of this is something worth being excited about. Currently it seems like no.

Hey, 6% cast speed, or 50-60 Life on gloves is a big mod. Remember how many times we find a tri res good boots with Life, but without any % movement speed? Or sometimes we find 2 res 400+ Armor gloves without any Life?

Imagine adding a single mod of choice to that items, they immediatelly become 1-5 ex worth items with that specific necessary mod. Of course, the new mods should be limited, we should never be able to roll tyrannycal on weapons so easily. Instead only tier 2, or tier 3 mods.

....speechless. Brilliant stuff, this little kiwi company just keeps on surprising me. Keep up the good work GGG, love it :)
