I think I remember POESkillTree (a software) released 1.1 tree a day or two before patch day. Saved me a lot time of allocating since I already knew where I had to allocate ahead of time. Forgot where the thread is now.

yeah looks cool and promising on the paper like sotv. lets see how it looks like when its released. but im excited anyway.
meh....not excited with the new patch.
To me it all sounds a bit like D3 approximation, lots of shiny useless stuff noone really misses or needs.

you missed the part where the life per level has changed so all the old calculations of what you life on gear + passive tree will = in the end has changed. Even allowing us to see the tree a few days in advance will not allow us to understand what speccing x amount life at a given level will mean in real hp terms.

If, yes. We will need more than the passive tree, alone it means nothing because speccing 8% life now will be different to speccing 8% life after. The tree alone is useless, we need a full working model of the new mechanics along with our characters and gear.

Poe builder is shit, half my items dont import and being able to create them using its tools is often impossible due to quality levels effect es and not being able to properly input the exact values we have etc. They will have to completely rebuild how their calculations for life and es etc work. Are they getting all this info in advance? Has any measures to help us in this regard been discussed or implemented?

If we can get a working model on the builder 10 days in advance that would be great, any time in advance, it will be far from perfect but if we are building/respeccing blind on the first day of the league we are fucked.

it wont help you because speccing life post patch will result in different levels of life to pre patch, so having the skill tree in advance means nothing.

Please don't fuck up the challenge leagues this time and don't add so significant challenge league exclusive content (like strongboxes). Challenge leagues should be about the new ladder and achievements (Onslaught was the best challenge league). Please don't force us to play on challenge leagues by making them more profitable and fun than permanent leagues.
