I don't know you, but in order the find an optimal balance in the skill tree I do respec part of the tree lots of times...one general reset helps but most of the time is not enough.
The point is to know these details in advance to allow users to recalculate their values and try to limit the mistakes.

it will be updated probably as soon as the passive tree is released

the bit where I can tell before I respec how much life I will need to allocate in order to keep the same amount of life I had before.
how the respec works: your passive tree gets reset and you get spendable passive skill points, you can just calculate stuff easily
you think you need to tell me how respecs work? You want to take a look at your character list and my character list and understand you are talking to someone with more experience in this game than you?
You cant calculate stuff, because the values of life we were speccing before and what that gave us in terms of final life has changed. What part of this game do you need me to explain to you so you can understand the problem here?

Wait for poebuilder to accommodate the new tree (1-2 days), input your level, import your gear, pick your nodes. Adjust as necessary. Find solution before actually inputting live in-game.
No regrets.

Is POE builder updated for 1.2 ?
No but I am sure it will be the day the tree is released. Just wait for the update and do your planning there is what I would do.

yeah, I know it. Our point is that this is not a 10 minute job to re-calculate and optimize everything. If we get this "release" of the new passive tree a bit in advance (lets say 10 days before patch) users can work on it without spoiling the content and hopefully save some regrets.

Looked a little bit closer on that new skill tree image.
I don't see that many lfie nodes or some life nodes up there between Witch and Shadow are missing.
As Shadow already had a life node problem, I'm a little bit concerned and hope Shadow/Ranger area got more life nodes :/
What if I told you that there's more life per level now so there's less need to pick up so many life nodes in the tree?
like I said, wtb enough regrets to completely respec 6 or 7 lvl89-92 characters.
but like he said , no need regret you have a free full respect for each caracters ... or did i miss something ?

Yeah, this is always an issue. Chris did mention awhile back that they were exploring ways on getting the tree out 1-2 days prior to the launch to help with this. But haven't seen anything new on this to indicate it will happen this expansion. Unfortunately the only answer is patience, as distasteful as that is.
