Scroll Of Wisdow Not Working

I am unable to get the scroll of wisdom to work. I follow the instructions, right click the scroll then left click the item. Nothing happens. I have restarted the game and still does not work. Am I missing a step here? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that you are not using them on items that are already identified or on items that need no identification (white ones)?

If an item is blue/yellow/orange and stats are displayed, it is identified.
As an example. White items cannot be further identified. "just for try, for see and for know"
|
|
|
Scroll of Wisdom identifies the item, unless it's either already identified or corrupted.
|
|
|
The name of the item is stated but has unidentified at the bottom where additional stats would be listed in blue, green or red.
