Does PoE support Crossfire?

Hi.

I have recently gotten back into PoE and during my time off from the game I have built a new computer.

The new rig has 2x AMD R9 290's in it running in Crossfire.

I just did a quick benchmark and with crossfire disabled I was averaging 125fps. WITH Crossfire turned on I was only averaging 92fps.

Is this an issue with the AMD Drivers? Or does the game just not support crossfire?
If its neither of the two then its probably something I have set up wrong... Any ideas?

I have looked into this a little more and have run some test...
I am running PoE through Steam so the exe is called PathofExileSteam.exe.

I did a few tests running through The Riverways casting Firestorm and these are the results...

No Profile in the Catalist Drivers
Min FPS - 92
Max FPS - 178
Average FPS - 125

I then created a profile and played with the AMD Crossfire Mode.
Note: CCC didn't warn me that there was already a profile associated with the game. This is important to note as there IS a Path of Exile profile pre-defined profile but it is assoiacted to 'Client.exe'. That means CCC isn't picking it up when you load the game from steam. The Stand alone version of the game is also named PathofExile.exe so I assume its not applying to that either.

Any way, here are the results of changing the XFire modes.

Default
Min FPS - 84
Max FPS - 180
Average FPS - 122

Disabled (Single card)
Min FPS - 92
Max FPS - 183
Average FPS - 122

Path of Exile Pre-defined Profile (Client.exe)
Min FPS - 92
Max FPS - 177
Average FPS - 125

AR Friendly
Min FPS - 80
Max FPS - 200
Average FPS - 123

Optimize 1x1
Min FPS - 80
Max FPS - 198
Average FPS - 117

I was running MSI Afterburner while doing these 'benchmarks' and for all of the profiles apart from disabled, the second card WAS running and did have some load on it but as you can see, having the second card didn't improve performance at all.

Can anyone from GGG comment on this?

I have a problem with this as well.

im runnning 2x r9 290 radeon sapphire and in my other games i play with 2 cards (crossfire) but in path of exile it only runs with one card.

How do i change and test the crossfire profile at path of exile?

Edit: I changed the Pathofexile client in CCC to crossfire and now it works. Not so much more improvement thought :P

Catalyst Control Center? The software AMD killed off two years ago?

How old is the driver you're using?
