Gavel drop rate or rather lack of it

Anyone else notices that gavel drop rates are abysmal? Ive found more carcas jacks and BoRs than white gavels

It looks extremely suspicious when one can find 200 siege axes per one gavel and these are of the same tier. Is this a silent 'balance' to broken mjolner? Balance by rarity?

Gavels, Rockbreakers and Stone Hammers are rarer because of the chisel recipe (20% + any map = 1 chisel)

Definitely have found more gavels than BoRs, but yeah, siege axes literally litter ever map I play (5 - 10 white axes per map, no exaggerating), while gavels are immensely more rare in comparison.

I also call chisel recipe nurf.

they drop fine for me. actually they drop so much, i'm constantly out of low-lvl maps for the chisel recipe

I didn't even notice they were in the game until Mjolner came out. Now I enthusiastically Chance them but so far for naught.

well.. all that 'rng is rng'.. rng can be rigged and i think that gavel drop rate IS rigged

i literally found more 1ex+ uniques than gavels during entire WEEK of playing

in similar time ive found easily 100+ siege axes, imperial/spine bows, mealstrom staves etc - all bases drop pretty equally - but gavels? no. not for me.

And you are unhappy? Many people found 0 1ex+ uniques lifetime.
And no, gavels drop a lot, thats only you.

Seen quite a few gavels drop, but most of them were blue and yellow, not too interesting for the "chisel+chance" approach.

It's not only him. I've been mapping for the past two weeks in 74+ maps and gavels are probably the the most rare weapon type that drops (now that I'm paying attention because of the recipe). All other highly sought after base types drop like crazy, so it's not about chancing.

(Ofc, a player can always leave endgame, and go farm Act2 monkeys for stone hammers.. yay, menial work!)
