Cybil's Paw block chance to spell damage quesiton

Normally if an item states "Block chance also increases spell damage", the application will only ever apply once regardless of how many sources you have.

However, Cybil's Paw states "6% increased spell damage per 5% block chance".

So is it possible to "double dip" with this, or is it just like the other applications? If someone with two of these could clarify, it'd be greatly appreciated.
No, you can't double dip. When it says block chance, it means attack block chance. Spell block chance is always based off of your block chance. You won't find any spell block that isn't based off block chance.

I meant if the Cybil's applied your block chance into spell damage, and would do so twice.
The attribute stacks with itself if you use two Paws.
In the best case, each provides 90% spell damage (from 75 block) for a total of 180% spell damage.

So it does stack?

2x Cybil DW - yes
block + spell block - no

the hard part is getting a lot of block chance while dual wielding...

Due to this it's usually better to use 1 cybil's paw with a high spell damage shield, unless you are really benefiting from the spell LGoH (ie. using incinerate)

Yeah, the only way to maximize the dual wield block is if you start as Scion, Duelist, or Ranger.

I found I could modify my regular version to get 53% block chance while dual wielding, but you could get up to 55%. I didn't grab the 4% in the Shadow area.

While true, "Block" in PoE always refers to "(Attack) Block", and "Spell Block" must be explicitly specified.

To reiterate, Cybil's spell damage increase comes from your character's (attack) block chance.
