Extra gore clarification:

Just wanted to clarify a few things about the extra gore micro-transaction weapon effect:
1. Will all physical attacks and physical spells (socketed into the extra gore-attached weapon) gain the extra gore effect? If I have extra gore on a equipped weapon but my attack skill gems are not in that weapon, I won't get the effect right? 2. How does this work with dual-wielding? Say I am dual wielding and have Spectral Throw on a weapon with extra gore (and the other weapon does not), will all my Spectral Throws have extra gore? What if I have a skill on the weapon without extra gore (but still have the other extra gore weapon equipped), will the skill gain extra gore? Thanks! Last bumped on Jun 2, 2017, 10:34:34 AM

" I'm fairly certain that "extra gore" modifier acts like a toggle switch, either you always have extra gore or you don't. You can test this by equipping facebreaker gloves and then casting any spell, i'm fairly certain that every kill will have extra gore, even if you aren't punching them. IGN: OldManBalls (Warbands)

Extra gore should work regardless of where it is.
Has extra gore, you can't attack with it, you can't use it in fight yet you get the extra gore effect out of it. I am not 100% sure on how the mtx extra gore works but I'd say it's the same as with the amulet. kiwi nation

It doesn't stack, and it works with any and all kinds of damage (on hit, not over time).

Alrighty, thanks guys!
Now I'm sure I don't need to buy 2 while they're on sale. Just need to have it on a weapon to get its effect for all my skills and attack, great! |

One thing to note is it really doesn't do anything for 1/2 of the mobs in the game, as least as far as I can tell.
It's really noticeable when killing zombies and most humanoid mobs, but there are tons of mobs out there that it does nothing to, I'm guessing because they don't have 'blood'. Last edited by MrDeezy#4313 on May 22, 2014, 1:59:52 PM

Yha just go buy it man great effect.
Leap slam + sweep = A screen full of blood. Or even better vs skeltons ( bones fly evreywhare ) Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Its global it works with any type of attack and spell, you just slap the MTX on your weapon
