Trying to trade 3 rare's identified

I won't get an alchemy when I try to trade these three items. :/ Anybody know why?

- Deerskin gloves: Horror carress
- Deerskin gloves: Doom fist
- Deerskin gloves: Corpse claw

What the shopkeeper gives me is 1 orb of alch. + 13 alt. shards.

Can somebody help me out here?
You can link the items by clicking on your character name in the top left and then click on the items you want to link. Do all of the items have 20% quality?
Arguing on the Internet: What's the point when you can't punch them in the face when they really piss you off?
This side said I can have 3 without 20%

X of a Kind

These recipes require multiple identified rare items with the same name.

none of have the same name. First name is horror caress. Second name is doom fist...

Ok so I had it confused with deerskin glove then. So actually these 3 together are worthless? That's a shame no recipe for 3 times the same object with rarity.

Is this of any value otherwise?

Sorry, they're only worth shards from the vendor. The recipe for Alchemy orbs would look like this

They're all the same base and there is a rare, magic and a white item. Once I add 20% quality to all of them I would get 2 Alchemy orbs since the items aren't identified. If identified I would only get one.

I see. Is it worth it to up them to 20%? When is it less profitable to up?

ps: I think you made a mistake, not sure this site is uptodate

2× Orb of Augmentation normal, magic, rare (all unidentified)
1× Orb of Alchemy normal, magic, rare (all 20% quality)
2× Orb of Alchemy normal, magic, rare (all 20% quality and unidentified)

Items for this kind of recipe just have to share the same name, they can actually be different types. E.g. you can get the same name on a helmet and a piece of chest armour and it would work. However, since the introduction of Alchemy shards I wouldn't invest the time and stash space to get matches but collect Alchs as bycatch. The only "collect stuff" vendor recipes I do are Chance and Chaos orbs. Incidentally, if you use id'd items, having the same name twice throws those recipes off :-D

For me it is. I play as a solo, non-trading player. I use the Alchs to improve my gear. This is a guide I wrote on how I go about it.

If you don't don't like playing at slow and grinding pace, the guide is not for you.

IMO the only time it's not is if you want to use your scraps to try to link an item. The added quality is supposed to make it easier.

No, this is the third example.

Oh yeah indeed it's the 3th.

I'm talking about is it worth it to up them in quality to get that extra alchemy orb? Is it for example worth investing 44 armor stones to get an extra alchemy orb?
