Vaal Orb -> Map -> ????

Hey there,

anyone vaal orbed a Map ? I am curious what kind of mods you get ... pls link them here :D
So far the results of vaal orbs on my maps have been:

+1 to map lvl
same map and mods but it becomes unidentified (good for the bonus of doing unid maps)
no change
reroll new rare map with alot of mods

One of the lesser savory ones rolled.

The other one I vaaled orb'd had twin bosses, pack size, and magic monsters. A long with some damage but it wasn't much. Awesome map it twas.
I use most of my vaals on maps
Guild #YoloSwag <SWAG>
HSC: SwaglordYolomancerII
Time zone: GMT +8 (Hong Kong)
They can have an additional mod..
"Ta-Ta, not-a-cockroach"

sometimes you get megalucky with the roll, nothing good drops in the map ofc
I've vaaled a lot of maps, and I can quite conclusively say that five different things can happen:

1) The map gets reroll with 8 mods, they seem to have no correlation to the mods that were before the vaal orb.

2) The map can get "chaosed". (4-6 new mods, no correlation to the old ones.)

3) The map gets replaced by a map one level above it, and gets "chaosed".

4) The map keeps the same mods but becomes unidentified which means 30% quantity bonus. Remember to link the map before vaaling it so you don't forget the mods.

5) Nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all...

Mind you this is only for rare maps. I have never used a vaal orb on a magic or normal map. I also don't have enough data to say much about the probability for each outcome, but they seem pretty equal.

Same for magic maps, except all of "chaosed" means becoming new rare, like super regal or something.

When I roll a monster pack size, I vaal orb them for a chance to unID. Seems to work about 1/3 of the times.
Anyone doing a study on vaal orbs on maps right now?
