Does anyone here play the DayZ standalone?
It is fun to sneak up on people, handcuff them, put a burlap sack over the head, steal their stuff, break their legs, then run off without ever saying a word to them. Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

friend tried to get me into the game but after he kept giving me the finger in game i called him up irl yelled at him that was rude and that he should check his cisgendered phallic overtone privileges i stopped playing and i dont talk to him anymore

People say that standalone is still nowhere close to the mod, even Dean Hall said it's pretty much an alpha. An they have a whole world of catching up to do considering that even epoch is going standalone "some time in the future".
Be ready. You're not paranoid, you're PREPARED.
I quit this game every few months and so should you to continue playing it in the future. The device is believed to have been dropped |

" The people who have a problem with the standalone are just morons who can't read the huge disclaimer that pops up before you buy the game and every time you log on. It very clearly states that the game is an early access alpha and there will be shenanigans. It IS in alpha still but much more streamlined than the mod and looks a lot better too. I haven't heard of Epoch becoming a standalone product... All it did was add some features to the DayZ mod. In the next content update we will have hunting, cooking, and persistent storage. After that, I believe we get base building and vehicles. Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
