Mirrored Flasks? What the heck?

Not sure this is right place to post this, but my templar in cruel found a chemist's strongbox which after it was ID'd said Kalandra strongbox. Several of the flasks inside said mirrored. Well, I know what a mirror of Kalandra is, but what is up with the flasks? Couldn't find it in wiki.

The "of Kalandra" and the "of Twinning" suffixes on strongboxes make mirrored copies of items (including flasks) dropped from those chests.

" I agree. Is there a use for mirrored items? The recent patch said something about making mirrored items not work in vendor recipes... Where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.

If the chest drops a six-socket, you now get two. Got a good rare? You actually got two.
