Why is the Catacombs corrupt area not spawning?

Since the patch I have spent about 4 hours farming one of 3 level 67 zones for the corrupt area. It is not spawning for me in the Catacombs (the only place worth farming outside of maps). Did it get nerfed from the hackers?

Has anyone else noticed?
I have gone up 2 levels looking for that damn place. The Docks one spawn every 3-4 runs.

Catacombs isn't worth farming at all. The only places outside of maps worth farming are Lunaris and The Sceptre of God.

Still not spawning... maybe this should be moved to the bug report. After last nights patch, I have not got it to spawn.

interesting - i used to farm cats like crazy but haven't much lately. before i would get a corrupt spawn like every 4-5 runs easy but i haven't gotten one since, tho again im not running it much at all any longer.

that being said, i've run docks about 40 times and i've still yet to find a corrupted zone from there....yes im serious and no im not exaggerating. im never stepping foot in docks again because of it

that's amazing. i think i see one in there about 1 out of every 8 or 9 runs.

another place where they seem to show up often is city of sarn.

i "test" build changes there, and it seems like every 8 or 9 runs there too.

Some spawn rates seem to be horribly low. Still.
I spent six hours just running through Sceptre to find Sealed Corridors, avoiding all combat.
While grinding in Lunaris however, I find those areas very often, maybe once every five runs?

The Catacombs corrupt area spawns after you click some kind of sarcophagus. I don't think it shows on the mini map till you click it.

RNG is RNG. Sometimes you'll get 2 instances in a row that have corrupted areas, while sometimes you can go 20+ runs without finding a corrupted area. I literally ran 40+ ledge instances the other day without a corrupted area, and was about to give up until it finally appeared on one of the runs. Just be patient and actually farm the area instead of skipping mobs solely to look for a corrupted area.

False. The sarcophagus glows red brfore you click on it, as shown in this video I made, just like any other corrupted area entrance would.

Personally, what I've been doing is start a public PA group everytime I find a corrupted zone. I got in someone else's public group for a docks WP and lucked into the docks corrupted zone.
I prefer to play solo. Chance being what it is, I just figured it's better on everyone to help out by making those zones more available.

All that said, about the 2nd or 3rd time I did it some knucklehead speed boost potted back to the Vaal gem and ninjaed it. I was a little ticked but overall unaffected.
