Unique armor for CoC builds

CoC builds need a unique item with built in supports.
You can't have fun with it unless you got a 6L, even then it's still too restricted.

Most players however barely manage to get their hands on a 5L:
The absolute minimum is 2 sockets for ST and CoC.
Then comes a lmp/gmp support and you got 2 sockets free.
For HC life leech is a must, and then you want to link something too to CoC, usually EK.

Great, so much for freedom and fun.
Would have wanted to add some other spells, cold, fire, mana leech, a curse or iir but nope.

So that's why I suggest that some rich kid out there throws out $1000 for this unique armor.

Gems in this item are supported by lvl 10 CoC+ Gmp+ ML+ LL+ FA+ Faster projectiles.
Can have 1-6 sockets, all prismatic.
Doesn't have any mods or other stats like life or res.

Flavor text:
"Kraityn never cared much about defense,
and that recklessness eventually took his life."

Now we could slap in all the fun spells and gems we always wanted.
I'm serious about wanting this item, but have to end this post with a sarcastic cry:
"NO IT'S NOT OP!!! IT'S TOTALLY BALANCED AND OKAY!!!"

Volls is our CoC armor I'm just sayin <.< can work with 4L even well my version of CoC anyway lol

Not much on that but I haven't played CoC so iunno how to best unique it.

Cast on Crit builds have two excellent charge generators, assuming that they are using Discharge.

Voll's Protector gives you a power charge on a critical strike.

Terminus Est gives you a frenzy charge on a critical strike.

Using those two alone, you can quickly generate more than enough charges to completely faceroll most content. Add in Enduring Cry to your links, and you'll be getting all three charges.

The only real downside to Terminus Est is it's low base crit chance and that it lacks any crit modifiers. It also is a two-handed weapon, which means no block.

Otherwise to respond to OP, no, we don't need anymore "Gems in this item are supported by X Generic Overused skill/support" items in the game. The sight of BoR constantly is an eyesore. It's just an excuse to be more OP. Now if they had uncommon support skills like knockback, or stun, or endurance charge on melee stun, or chance to ignite, or chance to flee, supports like those, then that would be fine. But direct boost like melee physical damage, or faster attacks, or CoC, are just excuses to run a 7 link, or effectively run a 6link setup with only a 5link.

Terminus Est is a bad unique, if you don't specifically need that. The advantage it gives is that you no longer require Blood Rage. Sure, Blood Rage gives you increased attack speed, on low life, life leech that is only worth while if you do high physical damage, and the same important bonus the unique gives you. Oh, Terminus Est gives you the Frenzy charge on the crit, not a kill. I'd consider Terminus Est much better than Blood Rage, but it cannot be used without losing a shield and a high crit chance weapon. It's more about play style and survivability.

Overall though, it is a bad unique especially when you consider block chance.
