Blood Rage on/off

Please allow us to turn blood Rage on and off at our own convenience. At the moment, blood rage can only be disabled if u remove the gem or the timer expires.

Furthermore, For people using Blooddance boots with Frenzy (12sec) and blood rage (15.8sec lvl 18) its dangerous when the the frenzy timer runs out and your HP trickles down for an addotional 3-6 seconds. Also, if u dont have or can't afford lots of chaos res this effect is much more significant. In Vulnerability maps this effect is even more so compounded.

If the Blood Rage gem could be switched on/off like auras, it would make the game play much more convenient and safer especially in Harcore.

I know there are a few work-arounds like stacking chaos resists or having more life regen but not everyone can afford (financially or item restriction wise) that.

Ps, blood rage gem used to have around 12 seconds timer and worked fine with frenzy but since it was patched to extend the timer, it seems GGG has overlooked the effect it has on blood dance Frenzy builds.

That's part of the purposeful design of Blood Rage. It has some great advantages, but the degen is rough, and forces you to use it carefully and play aggressively. If you could turn it off at-will, that would change the balance of the skill.

i can turn Righteous fire on / off with use of a ruby flask for instance. Also, this is not a drawback that affect people with lots of life regen and chaos immunity or res. Besides, it wont change the balance of the gem, just make the gameplay more fluent.

Here's a thought, at the moment i disable Blood Rage everytime i clear a room/ kill mobs and know i have to trek a bit before the next mobs come by taking the gem out of the socket and replacing it. this takes 2 seconds to do. So if the intention was to force blood rage to be active for its entire duration because of "balance" purposes my workaround voids that.

Why does blood rage not have a manual on/off switch like auras? To me it makes no sense.

They need make a "remove poison" affixe on flask. We can remove all elemental debuff except poison.

So, of course chaos damage isn't an elemental damage, but actualy, monster chaos damagee is broken ... find the exiled who spam viper strike and see that, if you are not a CI char, it will rape you ... often after his die, viper strike doing the job when you can't regen on life leech/life gain on hit on him ;).

Same, blue spiders in maps do big damage too with viper strike.

A "remove poison" affixe on flask could remove this problem and remove blood rage problem.

We can stop RF (and RF can't kill us, it stop when hit 1 HP), so if it can't kill us, why we can stop it and can't stop Blood Rage when Blood Rage can kill us?
