Is it bad form to use HP potions in a PvP battle?
Title, thanks for any feedback you provide.

" Not at all bad form. Pretty much everyone uses life/granite/quicksilvers in pvp. I think that was more of a D2 pvp thing as I've heard. Never played D2 myself though. IGN: _Firebitch

I played my first few months of this game not using any in pvp. Then I noticed everyone else was healing/playing like a pussy. So, take it from me...just do whatever it takes to win. Don't handicap yourself vs these bums.

I don't really like it but I don't think it's a huge problem.

The reason it is bad form in D2 is that you can have an almost infinite amount of totally OP potions that for example refilled your hp and mana 100% instantly. PoE is thankfully a little more balanced than that so potions are no balance issue here. You even need them to avoid some stuff that would have been OP if you had not had potions.

Yea it's not like D2 where you can get a shitload of Full Rejuv potions, or some other old games where you can get literally infinite potions. You can build for passive uber troll skin life regeneration anyway, and your potions are essentially part of your build.
