Where are chat logs saved..? (non-steam)
Yes I know this question has been asked before, I've searched, and found similar questions, but none of them answered my question. Well I have two questions, really:
1. I've checked for chat logs under: program files/grinding gear games users/user/AppData My Documents/My Games I cannot find the chat log in any of these places. There is a large text file called "Client" under Path of Exile\logs but it only contains debug-relevant data, not chat logs. 2. Somewhat unrelated, but similar question: I have the character name of someone I played with a few weeks back. However I don't have their account name is it possible to find out what their account name is based on their character name without talking to them or adding them to my friend list? #1 Should be in:
Windows 7 C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\My Documents\My Games\Path of Exile #2 /whois <character> Displays a character's level, class, league, and whether he is online. Or use this site and they will appear if the character is on the top 15k of the league ladder. |

That's a negative to both, neither work.
No logs in My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile (I did already mention this in the OP) And for #2, that information tells me about the character, but nothing about the owner of the character. I want to find their account name, not character info. Player since closed beta 2012. Full system specs: https://pastebin.com/c4rvbvSR

C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Logs\Client.txt
I see you looked there. It does indeed contain chat logs. It's a pain in the ass to pull them though because they are intermingled with all the other stuff saved. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>
