Crashing on Dominus

Okay, I've read a bit about this, but I have a slightly different variation of the problems other people are having.

So, I walk up the tower to the top floor where Dominus is, he makes his little speech, and the very second the fight starts my game client crashes entirely. This is making it impossible to progress.

I've had this problem for a while; through multiple patches, a graphics card update, etc. I really have no idea what I could do at this point to fix this since it is obviously not being worked on or is an isolated problem.

If anyone can offer any help on this I would really, really appreciate it. Thanks.

I am having this same problem. It started the last two patches for me. I was doing dominus runs for over a week and it just started randomly.

I am also having this issue. Dominus said his speech and then the game crashed (=freezed, mouse cursor was PoE-like, except for a little area in the center of the screen, it was default Windows-like, I clicked there and then the game exited). I encountered Dominus 2 times so far and it happened 2 times. First I was able to defeat the guy with flaming skills, then I went to closer to Dominus and this happened. If I relog, my teleport is lost. Standard league, Sherwatt character.

Just had the horrible encounter with this issue a few minutes ago. Joined here on August 7th 2012 and crashed at Dominus today more times than I have ever crashed in the rest of the time I have played Path of Exile. At least ten client crashes with no error messages whatsoever. After each client crash I would promptly re login and only to my dismay again crash at the Dominus battle.
