Manually edit POE Graphics for lower/higher settings.

All of these edit/change would be unsupported, might run just fine depending on the changes.

Please play with the settings and post below with the changes and results. This will allow you to edit sounds/display/gateway/UI

1. Browse to "C:/User/[You account]/My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile/"

2. copy "production_Config.ini" as "production_Config.backup"

3. open "production_Config.ini" with Notepad

4. scroll down to "[DISPLAY]" in notepad and change settings as you would like.

Changes to this document may crash your game(hence the backup of .ini), but it will allow you to change settings.

Hope this helps those who need lower graphics to run the game.

This seems stupid since all of this is found in the game menu

I taught it would have had options like Enable HDR or something

When editing Swtor's .ini file to manual graphic, you where able to added lines that where included to enable/disable graphical options.

Additionally I've noticed Textures "0" = High, "1" = Med, 2 = "low" 2 and greater is very ugly :). I'll keep looking into options for this .ini file.

This is a list of .ini settings for Swtor, now I doubt they will convert to POE at all, but they are basic settings for games. Lighting/Anisotropy etc. I'll continue to look for POE graphical commands to add to the .ini file, so we can edit more. You guys are more then welcome to help me test out some options/settings.

Do you have any suggestion on turning off environmental effects like rain during the Dominus fight?
There are no undocumented settings exposed via the configuration file.

You're correct in that the settings from one game are not interchangeable with that of another. Games from the same developer may share similar conventions however any positive result between different developers would be mere coincidence.

Besides, you can immediately rule those settings simply due to the different naming conventions (one is using Camel the other using underscores)
