Hells yeah they can.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Yes they can but do ur self a favor and don't attach mutlistrike to ur zombies. If u want a red coloured support for ur zombies use melee splash. Its way more effective at taking down packs of mobs and gives more single target dmg when u lvl it as well. Multi is not as good because they attack so slow the follow up attacks don't land because the target is out of range most of the time.

" You can use both only if u can afford to have 2 six links so that means no shield. Problem is most of us need the 6 link for specters and then use the +2 minion helm to four link zombie to Minion life, Minion Damage and then got only one socket left. Iv tried everything for that last slot and I have found splash far superior to mutli. If u can use both wthout dumping life or Damage go for gold. :)

Due to all the +10% minion life nodes before the +1 zombie nodes, I forgo the minion life gem. On a 4L I've been using zombie, splash, multi, faster attacks. Once I can sustain an additional aura then it'll be haste = wreckin' it

5L: Zombies just wade in blood. They also explode for a very nice amount.
Multi+Melee Splash+MinDmg or Faster Attacks+Minion Life+Zombie 4L: Skel Bombs - They explode on bosses and bone shield for you. Blind+Totem+Skelly's+Life 4L: Spectres - Ranged Support for Zombies MinDmg+Spectres+Life Leech+LMP or GMP Have fun Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins. Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :( Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.
