Unique Vendor Recipes with Skill Gems?
I don't know about other people, but since I've started playing I have noticed two things: that unique items drop fairly often, and that for the overwhelming majority of the time no one wants to use them. The same goes with skill gems: i have almost two pages of them sitting in my bank with nothing to do. My solution?
Vendor Recipe: Any Unique Item 5 skill gems gives 1 chaos Seriously, at the moment when I see a unique drop (I have still never found a valuable one) all I can think about is how it is going to sit in my stash for all eternity. Please make them worth SOMETHING to vendors. This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

a unique and 10 of each skill gem for a chaos, that would make more sense.

Or just use the chance orb unique recipe...

" I see almost every unique as valuable. As I level many toons, uniques are a wonderful tool to make the leveling smoother. But I agree there should be a vendor recipe for uniques. But I want to see exalted shards. Every unique vendored gives you one shard. 40-50 shards, gives you one exalted. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" You're gambling odds are probably better in Las Vegas than here in PoE. I'd be chancing a lot more if the Orb of Chance drop rate was higher. Come to think about it, if the major crafting orbs drop rates were much higher there would be more to craft with and less need to complain about the gambling/crafting system in general. Hey GGG, wake up and increase the crafting orb drop rates! You are crippling our fun factor. No crafting orbs (no-lifer elitists or RMT buyers excluded) = no chance to craft = unhappy players = no microtransactions for GGG = poor devs. This is as plain and simple as it gets. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. " I completely agree that some uniques have value while leveling alternate characters, but for people like me who don't even have enough time to dedicate to ONE character, let alone 2-3, uniques are just stash space. I totally agree with you about exalted shards, that would be amazing if you could sell each unique for 1/50th of an exalted |

" With GGG making the drop rates of the lower level uniques higher and the higher level uniques lower their value is only with making a new build have a smoother Normal and Cruel leveling progression. So in the normal leagues after playing awhile and saving every unique we have good choices to use for a new build. That obviously doesn't apply to the 4 month leagues as we're all starting from scratch and the drop rates need to be much higher to offset the fact that our stash is empty. I've observed that in general all arpg devs (not just GGG) undervalue vendor recipes (D3 was horrifically lacking in vendor recipes) and their impact on player happiness. There should be a much higher quantity of vendor recipes that are doable by casual players (no need to grind forever) such as the Blacksmith Whetstones, Armorers Scrap, and Chromatic recipes that are now automatically used in PoE play. These 3 are perfect examples of good recipes that are within the reach of normal play and PoE needs to have many more. There are many recipes that are near impossible to do because the items almost never drop (6 socket rare comes to mind) and are worthless for 99% of us. GGG needs to have a microtransaction for allowing players to create vendor recipes just as they have for designing uniques. edit: I wonder, do the PoE devs take time to read any of our posts or are only the moderators reading and then passing only what they deem as important up the chain of command to the relevant dev?
