Spell Totem Boost

I suggest you make so that the minion health support gem and possibly other minion gems effect the totems too. I sure would like to increase my spell totems health, they die fast.

So could someone verify this again because I'm checking and I'm not sertain what works.
What of thse passives effect the damage output of Spell Totem.

Increased Spell Damage

Increased Fire/Cold/Lighting Damage

Increased Elemental Damage

Increased Critical Strike Chance of Spells

Chance to Shock / Burning damage Increase / Increased Chill duration

anyone?

I don't think you know what your doing or what your talking about.

no passives increase the damage of the Spell Totem, only the "spell gem" that's attached to it. so since it's a "spell" that's attached to the Spell Totem, all passives that work with spells will work. slowly read your gems word for word, you will understand.

If you wish to increase totem health, get the totem health passives on the skill tree.

this should help you alot.

What a dick answer.
Of course I don't know what the answer is since I asked the question but why did you need to put it like I'm an idiot. Fuck you!

Please chill out there is no need for name calling.

Personalluy I have to disagree with your suggestion, Spell Totem is already somewhat overpowered I'm sure it's quite deliberate that it only has a few support nodes, if it dies you can just recast it.
Nothing to see here.
If you are having problems using Spell Totem, which is WAY OP at the moment, please review your build.

But, answering your question, every single of those buffs affect spell totem, since the buff affects the totem's spell, not the totem.

i think this has nothing to do with spell totem and everything to do with a lack of understanding of the game and its mechanics
and possibly a lack of common sense

what the OP meant to say was, thank you for correcting my misunderstanding, have a nice day! =P
Wow this is a thread loaded with ten tonnes of C4

I meant no offence at all. I tried to answer your question as clearly as I can. The question you were asking made no sense and was clear that you did not know what you were doing. If your making a mistake with something simple like the spell totem, (really, not saying your stupid) what else are you mistaken about in the game? Thats why I say, read the gems word for word.

Look at the very top of every gem, that is everything you need to know about the skill. let's take fireball for example. Fire, Spell, Projectile, Aoe. Almost every passive that alters those 4 affixs will work. So if you want to stack fire dmg, spell dmg, projectile dmg and aoe dmg passives. They will all work and boost the fireball skill gem.

The Wiki site I posted helped me "ALOT" understand the game more. Has everything you need and has alot of errata on skills. For example, did you know that a fireball will only cause an aoe explosion on the first thing it hits and not the second? like when you chain a fireball or pierce a fireball.

If by me stating that you don't know what your doing or talking about is what offended you, I'm sorry. It's more of means of making you stop and rethink what you are doing.
