Does increased experience gain (such as this ring) affect gem leveling speed?

You would think so, but I would question it simply because I know that exp penalties applied to you due to monster level differences do not affect gem experience.

I was wrong about the penalty thing in the other thread. But in my research about the Gem exp.gain, I found several threads, that confirmed that Items etc. that up your exp.gain, also help gem leveling in that they gain more because you gain more.

I would like to bump and get a second opinion on this.
