Does DOT stack with crit and cast on crit?

DOT = Damage over time like burn damage. I think every tick as its own chance to crit.
I dont think so because it will be op. But what if it does? Anyone know? IGN: GoDxChaos

Damage over Time does not 'tick', it does not Hit. Damage over Time does not Crit.
