(UNITY) Guild Manifesto

♦ Unity is a new Gaming Community created "by PoE players for PoE players".
We are trying to create a close-knit community, invite-only based, and make an equal/trustworthy ground for PoE players. We have shared stash tabs, with skill gems/leveling gears available for all members.

♦ Unity is not a race guild, nor a Hardcore-exclusive guild, but rather a safe haven for casual minded mature players who play whatever league they want. You don’t have to be hardcore, 24/7 online no-lifer to be able to join our guild. Currently we have members from both Standard/Hardcore leagues, both US and Euro region, so you don't have to worry about having no teammate to play with.

• Please take note that if you write a few short lines, it will be hard to get a proper idea of who you are and your motivations are for getting into the guild. Also, it gives a negative image of you to make a "shotgun application" and more or less refers to your lack of interest towards Unity.

*Please note that there are exceptions - like if you have friends in-guild and they can vouch for you.

• The only thing we would like to know is 1. How long you have played Path of Exile or other MMOs, and 2. Your experience and background in PoE since it also states that you are going to play the game long-term. Also tell us a bit about yourself, your current/future build(s), your playing habit, and your interest in any aspect of the game.

* This is NOT to say that we do not want new players, or inexperience ones, but we are accepting on a very limited basis. For new player, we have seasoned members that understand game mechanics and can assist you in theorycrafting/playing tips. With the right mindset, any player is welcomed!

Also, make sure to leave your IGN so we can contact you ingame and discuss our guild philosophy if you have any question!

○ If you have a tendency to be extremely cynical and critical of other people in general, this might not be the place for you. We prefer to have a positive and friendly athmosphere.

○ If you enjoy inguild drama & you like to create conflicts this is NOT a guild for you.

○ You need to have respect towards other players. For example: Standard is not "scrubcore" but rather a set of mentality someone has chosen to play with. Please be respectful of others.

-Guild members are not allowed to participate in RMT transactions.
-Characters should have names that are neither racist nor insulting.

• 5 spots open.

•7 spots are reserved for friends of members.
•1 Spot is in permanent reserve.

Hey!

Im one of the founding members of Unity - Infinity and beyond. Was thinking of maybe doing a small'ish introduction.

I am EU based player (Finland) who plays most hours - on the domination side of the game. I have actively played since the OB release and have levelled tons of level80+ characters to the point where those arent map viable anymore.

At the moment, the best build I have geared up, has been able to take me upto level 72 map-base. As you can see, "im trying to play the game to level100 as solo" :D

I would like to think my self as a one-man-theorycraft project - oh yes I have like cazillion builds that never worked. Like the last one I played in Standard - blender dual strike crit dagger.

On personal side; I tend to be a bit philosophical and do like to promote a model of thinking where we take the concept of Infinity into level of "attempt to understanding other people" - quite Hermeneutical ehh?!?

Oh, I play HC leagues too, but im mainly focusing on softcore side of the game since I like to test things ouT!

Theory of the day.

Idea:
Use 2* Cast when taken damage and 1* Cast when stunned.

Taken damage 1: Keep it low level to get Endurance charges.
Cast When Stunned 1: Immortal call to Max level CwS.
Taken damage 2: Molten Shell to Max level Cwtd.

Logic of this use: You continuously get pumped Enducance charges with lvl1 Cwtd. These then get burned about 50% of times when you get stunned. Molten Shell is good to combo to when you take more damage continuously than IC. IC is for when you take burst damage. Molten shell should be placed in combo with high level Cwtd also cause then it doesnt burn your damage with constant casts.

Use for this:
Melee gets the best benefit, but others that use the Endu+IC mechanics can make their IC use less RNG and usually when you get stunned it also means your taking heavy damage. If you do just 2* Cast when taken damages with high and low level gems (endu+IC applicatin), then you often might burn your IC to situations where you might not be in as big trouble as you would in case you would be stunned.

I'm the Nemesis/HC Officer of Unity Guild!

A little bit about me...I'm a college student studying in Connecticut, USA. I'm usually busy, but I spend so much time on PoE nonetheless!

I love theorycrafting, sometimes even more than playing the game. When it comes to planning builds, I like to figure out everything as perfectly as possible before even trying it out. I only play hardcore leagues, so my goal is to make endgame viable builds that can tank almost anything (while still being original)! You can often find me sitting in town for hours while talking in chat and discussing my ideas.

We have a good group of people going right now, and we're always looking for other players across all leagues who are friendly and share our love for this game. Hit me up if you have any questions about joining Unity, either in-game or via PM.

Hey. Most of our Nemesis players are from US atm. We hope to build a balanced team of EU/US base in time... Remember that we respect "quality over quantity" so we dont want to rush with things.

An application made to guild is not just for this league but for future leagues too. We are trying to build a gaming community - with long time member base.
