Simple question, how will MoM and BM synergize?

i.e., 0% will be subtracted from mana, making it pointless to take both.

Sorry for take that old post back to live,

but in additional to this mechanic, how works x% of Damage taken gained as Mana when Hit

Example:

100% Damage
Mind over Matter takes 30% to mana
70% to life


You now get 16% of Damage taken gained as Mana when Hit (e.g. 2x Praxis ring)

is the result that 30% that goes to your mana (you have 0 with Bloodmagic) is reduced by 16% and 14% left goes back to life?

so 70 + 14% = 84 % goes to life? the Rings is then a 16% reduction of all incoming damage (by a hit)???? Maximum was then 30% reduction atm with mind over Matter! (There are more Items/Classes to max that i know, but for that example we keep it easy!)

According to this here, the damage taken gained as mana when hit applies before any damage gets absorbed by mana.

So in your example you'd take 100% of damage, gain 16% as mana except that you have a maximum of 0 mana so gaining no mana, then you'd take the 30% of damage to your 0 mana, with the full amount going to life instead since there's no mana to absorb the damage.

Thats what i thought too, but i also hear that they changed this and wiki is not up to date?

Same as the Leech and Damage reflect. One is damage, one is heal. ATM: if all + and - is calculated, the sum of all goes to life. If your Leech is higher then the reflect, you heal life and dont lose it.

Thats why you can reach the Imunity to Elemental and Physical for 30-50 Seconds. Only Chaos can kill you (if you not have CI) >Blood of Corruption-Grants level 10 Gluttony of Elements Skill<





Anyone know it by testing this? Cant test atm.

This is not what happens. Recovery and Damage are never just added up. Not with Vaal Pact/Reflect, not with regen/degen.
Leech occurs before Reflect damage is taken (after all, you need to deal Damage (and thus Leech) before said Damage can be Reflected).
This entire thing would be much more interesting with eldritch battery...

You need a decent pool of mana/ES to handle that... This points/Items can invest more in Block/Regen mechanics to get more stable then.
