The new 2 handers, again my guess, would get an average of 700 physical easily. I would say the new ranges for a perfect karui maul / imperial staff / karui chopper are something like 500-900

so 900 max, except 2 handers get tons more melee physical damage than unarmed builds from the skill tree ... the 2 handed and weapon specific nodes apply too


Yep! Facebreakers with amazing gear is still gonna wreck most mobs, and you get the shield compatibility. 2handers SHOULD do more by rights, and they get no shields. Cant wait to revive my acrobatics 2handed ranger!!!!!

The following skills have had their mana costs reduced: Arc

Arc: Damage has been increased by around 23%

Fixed a bug in Arc where the first arc in the chain would attempt to re-target to things outside its maximum range

Maybe it's time to dust my arc casting witch off the shelf from not playing her in a long time.

I'm hoping that targeting fix is the big solution to Arc failing to cast correctly. *crosses fingers*


So many other tantalizing things in these patch notes to comprehend my mind is in overload! But the Arc things really jumped out at me as significant.

Why is anybody complaining about solo play being ruined? I Haven't partied up to actually play with anyone for ages, and I usually use clarity, and maybe one more aura.(and it's fine) When I see these notes, my thoughts are: "Awesome! more life per level, more life per life node, and greatly increased chances of 4 or 5 linked items." I see this as a direct buff to solo play.

A bit disappointed about the PvP. Thought it would be cooler.

You NEEEEED a huge "QUEUE FOR PvP" button in the game! Not hidden in some random NPC's menu and then you even need to stand there and wait! Wtf!
Some people that have played PoE for over a month didn't even know PvP existed, because it was so well hidden.

This way, GGG, new PvP is already dead when born.
Had much more expectations here, sorry. :(

Rest is all nice and all, but so disappointed of PvP, PvP is ruined once again, nobody will play it after the first few days, again. -.- Can't believe it.

Also duells soon (tm) and PvP events in a few weeks, maybe.

Feels like this was your chance. It would have been 1000x better to delay the patch for a month than this. Many people will check this out, will feel that nothing really changed and then be gone forever.

Proper PvP with queue, noob-friendly match making and ratings were the missing link for PoE's success imo. That's gone now. Hope I was wrong.
