Cast on Melee Kill --> meeh, idk, useless for party play and maybe even solo if its an RT build and your dps isnt enough to kill quick, or even with enough dps but you are killing everything more or less at the same time since everyone has access to splash now? Idk, on kill stuff always sucked, since d2.

Chance to Cast is one of the things that still holds me to playing Diablo2 Median Ultimative. It's a pretty cool mechanic, but we'll see how it works out in PoE.

imho "allies" includes minions and party members. and i can imagine my minion having this property leads to me, as ally, being affected by it.


After looking into it, i think youre right actually. Leer Casts effect should work with minions. There can't be much else use for that helm. Auras also says "allies" in thier descriptions so Leer Casts effect should in fact work.

It is cast on player death. We don't really expect this one to be too popular in Hardcore.


I can think of at least one use for this that nobody has mentioned. Instead of permanently dedicating a couple sockets for this effect, just stick them in when you need them. Like say, merciless Brutus fights with an evasion character where he does the chain throw and insta-kills you. Some fights on some characters are pure attrition; cast on death merely speeds up this process. It's not the optimal way to win a fight, but I sure as hell get tired of being killed every time piety steps into a fire ring.

I'm also curious if those trigger gems stack
can I make a tank with Wand with high spell dmg and have 5 x trigger on dmg taken in all my items ? for example trigger on dmg + frost nova + shock nova + iron will on all my gear. Will that give me option for 5 frost and shock novas casted at once ?
Do those trigger gems work on secondary weapon sets ? I assume not , but oh man if they did ......

Are you fcking kidding me? TONS AND TONS of people build around failure. That's why they get so high HP and ES, so that when they fail to play properly (like noticing a reflect mob or moving out of an enemy skill) they won't get as heavily punished.

That's also why many use the "alt+f4" method: so that when they fail, they got an easy escape to not get as punished.

I'm not so sold on offensive triger skills, I've been looking yesterday at my characters a bit and there's not one that I would be willing to replace 2 skill gems in a 5L main skill combo.
