waypoint too hard to find

this is one of my major complaints about the game. it plays VERY well, however, sometimes it seems like I'm clearing the map simply to find the teleport waypoint. IF a map has a waypoint, then please put it in the beginning of the map so the progress is "saved" once you reach it. I just spent over an hour playing the same map over trying to find an none existing waypoint... (old field) right now it's VERY confusing whether a map has a waypoint or not..

1. Areas that have waypoints are marked as blue circles with small blue dots in them. Others don't have dots in them. This is visible once you have visited an area at least once, when you open the quest window with "U" or click on the waypoint in town.

2.It is kinda the point that you have to explore the map to find the waypoint. This has been the case forever in these types of games.

3. You have not played the game enough. There are patterns to where the waypoints are actually located. And you start noticing those patterns more and more as you do additional playthroughs. They are not so random as you might think at first.

Have you tried hitting 'U' on your keyboard to view the map? You'll find an icon in the top left corner with an 'i' containing the Map Legend. I think it's pretty self explanatory.

Most waypoints are quite hard to miss as they are usually found at important locations or alongside roads. A few areas (Submerged Passsage 2, Rocky Climb, Lower Prison, Ship Graveyard, and Chamber of Sins 2) have waypoints that can easily be missed.

Meh, I wish that map somehow showed up like mines.

I been trying to mess around with the graphic settings in the game to make the map more clear. All I get is the same blurriness, and it is a bit tough to see the waypoint in the map when they are inactive. Also, same can be said for the sockets. I wish there was an option in the video setting to tweak the UI. This is the only thing that bothers me in PoE.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

You should re-install the game. The map is not supposed to look like that at any graphic settings. I know - I play everything on low and the map and other interface are as sharp as the guy posted before

I can confirm you are experiencing a problem; even when I play the game on my Mac it looks like the correct image with the legend.

Perhaps a new thread in the bug report forum about your missing map legend.

Map legend does appear when I click on the upper left corner of the map, but it is blurry as well.

Try going into your video card driver settings, and looking for something like "mipmap detail level", and turning it up one notch.

GGG should really export all the UI textures without mipmaps so this doesn't happen to people. But in the meantime raising that setting in your graphics drivers should fix the blurriness issue.
