Auras + Aura Area of Effect Passives/Leadership Notable Passive

I had 1 Aura Area of Effect passive node already when I went to allocate 2 passive points.

My offensive auras (wrath/hatred/anger) said 21% Increased Area of Effect Radius in both the mouseover for the skill and in the misc tab of the character screen.

I selected the second passive node and the Leadership notable node, for +40% more area.

The text for the auras did not change at all. So it seems that either:
a) The nodes don't work.
b) The descriptive text doesn't update correctly.
c) The descriptive text doesn't take the nodes into account on purpose, and there's no actual info on the sheet to show the node effects.
d) Something I haven't thought of.
