0.11.4 Patch Notes
Dear All,
After browsing through hundreds of "Im gonna lose 1 of 6 auras, my life-based build is ruined" posts, I refrain from reading any further patch notes threads until further notice, with exception of "filter-account-type/staff". " ...where's the "Like" button?
" So you just shamelessly proved how this is about mix-maxers going to 6-minute map runs instead of 5-minute map runs thanks to a bug fix, and the ensuing qq is all because of this. Thanks. |

" Thanks for posting this! Great work GGG.
I can smell the patch coming.
Very soon my friends.... very soon |

First I would like to say I love all the changes this Patch has to offer. Great job!
Anyway, that being said . . . In the next Patch, can you guys please fix the 'Trap Use' issue where if you got 3 trap uses it doesn't reset back to ZERO every time you use a TP or Zone? As I mentioned in a Thread sometime ago, those who love to use traps (especially Fire Traps) are somewhat put at a disadvantage in that Trappers cannot get in on the action as fast everyone else can when you enter new Zones or use someone's TP. It is extremely annoying as a Trapper having to wait for my traps to recharge again and again to use them. Is this worth pointing out? Yes. I currently deal 8K+ damage per trap (with Fire Penetration + other supports) and deal 800 damage over time. Not to mention, I don't even have all the gear I really need to deal 12K+ damage per trap and 1200+ damage over time. My build is viable for end-game and works great. Thank You GGG (if ever this gets fixed) When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails. " Whoa, THANK YOU! This is awesome. " Yeah, this 'reset issue' includes but is not limited to, Traps. Overall, it really needs to be fixed. It's very unfair and not so cool having to wait for cooldowns and trap uses you already waited for, only to wait for them again. No matter what, cooldowns and trap uses, ETC. should always be fluid and consistent regardless if you use TPs or Zone to different areas. It makes no sense (regardless if the game code is the way it is for w/e reason(s)) for everything to keep resetting over and over again. When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails. " Well that was unexpected. Does this mean our trap count will soon be global, and unaffected by zone transitions and town resets? IGN: KoTao

" It came as unexpected to me too, just a simple "Yes" and nothing more. A rare response. Anyway, yeah, that's exactly what it means, however, I am not sure about the 'global' part or how that has anything to do with the issue. I think you used the wrong term. If this is fixed for Traps, perhaps the issue with Cooldowns well will be fixed too. We can only hope and see. P.S. According to what one of the Devs told me when I first brought this up is that upon entering new Zones or TPs, your character is remade again in which your Skill Gems, Gear, etc. become re-equipped to your newly made character. He then argued it would be a hard fix but I couldn't help but differ in saying otherwise . . . Maybe my optimism helped in that there is a fix for this issue now because I pushed the envelope. I've never heard of characters being remade upon entering new Zones or TPs in any game. It is very odd game code. When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails. Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.
