Path of Exile lore as a book

Just wondering if this is a thought? I mean full scale novel.

There is a huge back story here that I would love to read however I don't have the patience to listen to every NPC tell their story. (Just my own personal gripe. Nothing or no one to blame but me.)

Personally I don't think there's a good 'story' to hang all this lore on. Not yet. It's there, waiting to be excavated, but right now it's just a few bones sticking out of the ground.

I hope it does eventually happen. It's like the one big missing element.

Even after listening and reading everything I could find in the game there is still very much to be desired in the lore department.
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
No patience because I would rather kill shit. :(

As of now no but when it's all done I think a novel would be nice. I'd buy it. I have lots of free time in my twenty-four hour shift at the firehouse so reading is a pastime I have picked up.

What an awesome idea; however, one of my college degrees is in Creative Writing for both English and Spanish, so that makes me a bit biased. I actually received my MFA from the first college in the U.S.A to have a multilingual program for Creative Writing in the languages mentioned (UTEP: University of Texas at El Paso---yes, EP aka the city next to Juarez, Mexico). I'm currently doing a job on the side with digital platforms created by organizations like Amazon.com. Nevertheless, I'd be more than happy to offer my services to PoE for free. They have done so much without asking/forcing people to pay a single dime, so it's the least I could do. Well, I'll just leave that out there in case *someone is interested.

I fully agree, though from what I gather it is something that is being worked on and given some proper attention, which I think is great.

+1 for book. I'd buy one for sure, and I think a lot of other people would too.

Depends on who wrote it. Edwin? Oh hell yes. Dude has a gift for dialogue (well, monologues really) rarely seen in games these days. Some of the writing in those weathered carvings is downright poetic.

On the other hand, we've yet to see him really flex his storytelling muscles, so we'll see. I didn't really enjoy The Silmarillion, after all.

Graphic novel directed by George would be pretty damn amazing......

I'd be interested,I think it would make for a good read.
I would love to see something like this, I think the lore has some serious potential here. Obviously the gameplay comes first but I am always really interested in the lore/story.
In case you haven't seen this.
