0.9.12 Patch Notes

I've just respent my points and was trying my Ranger out, with Poison Arrow, Lesser Multiple Projectiles, Faster attacks and Faster Projectiles, Before this patch I could spam poison arrow, use Temporal Chains and Phase Run for kiting mobs, now in seconds I run out of mana, can't use anything except Poison Arrow and Grace, and I must kite like never before waiting for the mana regen, my flasks are getting empty and I took a hell lot of time to kill stuff, I also fear that I will get owned by the bosses by getting out of mana so quickly now.....Are there any substantial changes in the mana cost area for those gems??? Anyway, I didn't dig the new gems and Itens layout, Loved the voice acting! This game is awesome!

I like the idea of the new socket layout for items on the ground, but I'm not sure about the implementation. Obviously there's not too much you can do when only working with a pixel or three, but the new links tend to make the whole thing a bit busy. I dont get how 2x3 rectangle is easier to scan for drop. Before I can easily identify how much socket there is by simply looking at the socket line lenght. Now it's a rectangle. And the link in the line setup was much clearer than now. It's hard to tell if a link is there or not, and I have to hover over the item anyway

It was always there, a simple line connecting the dots

Damn, not sure if it's the resolution I play at or something else, but I've never seen them before today and always wanted them introduced! :S

EDIT: I've just checked some old screenshots and they were there alright. :)
Not sure how I'd always managed to miss that!

I love the skilldrasil improvements :)

Not sure about the new sockets, but I'll see after some days of playing.

Also, for those wondering, the patch size is 867.68 MB.

I just want to chime in and say that the new sockets are way to clean and bright. It's almost difficult to look at a 6 socket item and quickly assess the colors because of the brightness before I could eyeball items rapidly and move along. I really do not like the way they do not fit with the overall game environment now.
