TOP BOW/QUIVER FOR LA ARCHER - Lionseye, or Tri-Ele Thicket?

Hello all. I am a LA Duelist, but since there is not much help over there I thought some rangers could give it a try :).

My simple question is this:

Is this the best combination of a bow/quiver (for pure DPS) for an elemental LA build?


Or would a very high rolled Tri-Ele thicket and a 30% Ele Dmg/10% Atk. Speed quiver be a better combo? Please reply.

If curious my build is this, if it matters in the bow/quiver selection:


I am sure others would like to know the question of "THE BEST BOW & QUIVER" for their elemental builds as well. Sorry if it has already been answered here, but PLEASE reply to this. Cant' get any answer on the duelist forums.

in theory you can get way better thicket bows than lionseye.
also a quiver with life, ele dmg, %ele dmg, crit, attack speed can awsome.

The top thicket on the server does 397 dps top lion's eye caps at 334 or 335. Thicket bows with perfect mods can do around 460 dps so they have a much higher potential. You also might need different mods depending on your build. The easiest choice is a lion's eye that is why so many people use it and it saves you either accuracy nodes or the resolute node.

I see. It is hard to find an ELE thicket (I'm ele-dmg build) that is very high DPS. Guess I'll stick with the lionseye.

And so blackgleam is top DPS quiver then?

sadly its not so easy to beat a blackgleam. a lot gear/spec dependend though








those two beauties - with my passive tree and some gear tweaks outdps the blackgleam lioneyes build by quite a bit (with la/frenzy at least)




with the huge passive dexterity gain i even need just very little accuracy on my gear

Interesting. You use a physical damage thicket for Lightning arrow? Are you sure that combo is a DPS upgrade over the lionseye/blackgleam? A HUGE one?
