Rush to her. Spqwn a rejuvenation then skelies (no totem) order your minions to attack the "pods" then the fight start then have at least one bm near her. I use EE and cast on hit on ly chain arc..so she gets temporal chin3d chilled (hatred zombies)
Even if my pet's are snapshot your should be stronger. I didnt knew the leveling was so crucial and did a part with axes and bows (first char) so my summon where merely 13 when ifinished merciless... at 17 i could kill her.
And to add that i go the IIR way and snapshots in the sqme gear so my zombie are 5l with iir so was under q 4l minion helm. Bm are usually 6l ghen retrofitted from tanula to ly 4l chest.. but again BM are 5 L due to IIR.
I got accustoed to it.. but when I'll drop IIR i think ill also drop low life...so i could join the joy of the CI get frozen clan and walk over all snake's construct and finaly chaos alchely..

i did shrine for the first time ever. i rip at the 2nd stage of the fight (no more flasks, got stuned by an ice arrow while runing away) surprisingly only lost 1 out of 2 lvl 65 BMs, without spamming that much bone offering as it was a no regen map and i ran out of flasks. gona try temple map now to see how it goes.
edit: tried temple, dint lost a single minions to her, and lost both specters and 1 zombi to dual piety's
matt, i think that with a rathpith+ necro aegis you can cap (at least will be high) your minions in both phy and spell block.

Do you know if the "cannot block attacks" modifier prevents minions from blocking physical attacks entirely? Even with bone offering active? If that's the case, it seems like saffells is a poor choice when we already have significant spell block to minions from talents and bone offering.

Physical attacks was never an issue for minions. But I do see Rathpith Globe being the better shield when u combine it with bone offering.

I think spell damage is a bigger issue, yeah, but I always seem to lose minions to physical damage rogue exiles. Quite annoying when mapping in a group. Also, piety's archer form.

cruel hillock, killed using BMs
Remote mine + Trap Only: 13.6s, 13.8s, 13.5s
Remote mine + Trap, detonated then replaced by item rarity and increased AOE: 24.2s
Didn't even bother with attempt number two, the dps difference is so drastic that it is pretty damn certain you can't "8L".

yeah just tested that myself and you are right the bonuses from remote mine and trap are removed when the gems are removed

Phys attacks were never an issue cause Saffel's was the only way pre-patch, and just spamming flasks like crazy(which you don't have to do anymore, fortunately). If you go to Poorjoy's for example go up against some tentacle miscreants with Saffel's they'll completely own your minions. Saffel's is crap now, I sold mine already, I expect its price to go down a lot.
I use Lioneye's, the armor bonus is amazing, makes tentacle miscreants' dmg a joke, same with Kole blood slam, Vaal stones(you can also spellblock those), evangelists' phys spell blast, etc. And these all used to hurt a LOT before, often leaving a few zombies dead.
With Rathpith you lose all the armor, gain ~15% spellblock, a bit of ES. The spell dmg doesn't work with degen, pretty sure. So it is inferior and much more expensive.

I think saffell's is a bad shield overall, the loss to physical damage mitigation is an overall drop in effective health for minions. However, there are more threats from high damage spells and map modifiers (chaining on extra elemental damage?) or hard map bosses that makes spell damage the bigger threat to minions exploding. It is situational though and I'm still keeping mine in the stash for a map or zone that will require it.
Regarding the added damage: I wonder how much extra damage it would give incinerators or sentinels? Combined with flesh offering, I wonder how high you can push their dps and if it could be comparable to BMs.

Well, incinerators did get a damage buff. But the fps drop makes them horrible. One of the best features of BMs is that they not only have great dps, but don't get fps drops either.
